Hammerfest Inspection & Testing was established in 2014 to provide non-destructive inspection services (NDT), as well as eddy current inspection, to the oil, gas, process, and maritime sectors.
After more than 10 years in the market, Hammerfest Inspection & Testing has established a strong position and can demonstrate solid reference projects.
Third-party inspection services are performed in accordance with non-destructive inspection of structures, vessels, tanks, and pipes in the following conditions: new, used, in service, refurbishment, and "on the go." Hammerfest Inspection & Testing has Level III in all conventional NDT methods and Level II in advanced NDT. NDT inspections are performed using the methods RT, PMI, UT, PT, MT, ET, VT, PAUT, and TOFT. In addition, operational inspections and tank inspections with thickness measurement of atmospheric tanks are performed.
Hammerfest Inspection & Testing is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and DNV 402 A, and also holds approval from the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority for the use of X-ray. Headquartered in Hammerfest.
